12 Medals for Panthers at Ali's Dojang Poomsae Championship
Four golds, six silvers and two bronzes in individual, pair and team events at Ali's Dojang Poomsae Championship.
On Saturday 14 February 2026, London Taekwondo Panthers travelled to East London for Ali's Dojang Poomsae Championship, and came home with 12 medals: 4 golds, 6 silvers and 2 bronzes.
Our students competed in individual, pair and team events. Poomsae are set patterns of Taekwondo movements, judged on accuracy, power, balance and timing. Pair and team events add another challenge, as students have to move perfectly in sync with each other.
For several of our students this was their first open competition outside the club, and they handled the big hall, the judges and the nerves brilliantly.
Congratulations to every Panther who competed, and thank you to all the families who came along to support.
